Free local SEO tools
12 free local SEO tools, grouped by the job they do and listed in the order the jobs depend on each other: check your business details first, then the Google Business Profile, then reviews, then the schema and AI search layer. 8 of them run entirely in your browser, so nothing you type reaches us.

Why the order matters
Every tool after the first one copies your business name, address and phone somewhere: into a profile description, a review link, a schema block, a directory listing. If those details already disagree across the web, each tool spreads the disagreement further. That is why the list starts with the NAP checker and ends with schema: fix the facts once, then publish them everywhere.

What the tools do not do
None of them posts anything to Google, Apple or a directory for you, and none of them changes a listing. They tell you what to fix and where to be listed. For the background, read the Google Business Profile guide, what local citations are, and why NAP consistency comes first. When you would rather have the listings built and checked for you, that is the citation building service.
Frequently asked questions
Are these local SEO tools really free?
Yes. All 12 are free to use with no sign-up, no trial and no limit on how often you run the browser tools. The NAP checker and the AI visibility checker have a fair-use rate limit because they fetch pages for you.
Do the tools store what I type?
8 of the 12 run entirely in your browser, so nothing you type reaches us. The others need a server: the NAP checker and the AI visibility and llms.txt tools fetch public pages you point them at, and the citation finder reads our own directory catalog. None of them needs an account.
Which free tool should I use first?
The NAP checker. Every other tool assumes your business name, address and phone are already the same everywhere, and the checker shows where they are not. Fix those first, then set up the Google Business Profile, then the citations, then reviews and schema.
Can a free tool build my citations for me?
No. The tools tell you what to fix and where to list. Building and verifying the listings is the paid Citation Builder service, where our team submits your details by hand and checks that each listing is live.
