Reaching a human, or even the right self-service form, for a listing problem depends on which platform you are dealing with: Google Business Profile support runs through an in-account contact form, Apple’s location tools now sit inside the renamed Apple Business, Bing and Foursquare route through account dashboards, and Yelp and Meta both publish a phone number or dedicated help center for business accounts. Every platform asks a version of the same six questions before it will fix anything, so the fastest support ticket is the one that answers them before you file it. This guide gives the real entry point for each platform, plus what a local SEO citation builder already keeps on file for exactly this kind of ticket: your business’s name, address, and phone as they should read everywhere.
Before you contact anyone: the six things every platform asks for
Every platform below eventually asks for some version of the same proof. Gather it once and reuse it:
- Your business’s exact name, address, and phone as it should appear (and as it currently appears, if wrong).
- The listing’s public URL, if it has one; a business name alone is often ambiguous.
- The account email used to originally claim or create the listing.
- A screenshot of the problem, since content on a live page can change before support looks at it.
- Proof you are the business, when ownership is in question: a phone bill, lease, license, or the phone number that actually rings at the location.
- A plain description of what should be true, not just what is wrong, since a support team resolving a mismatch needs the correct value, not only the incorrect one.
Why “just search for their support page” does not work
A generic web search for a platform’s support number tends to surface old blog posts, outdated phone numbers, or third-party sites that are not the platform at all, and that gap is exactly what the scams and impersonation attempts covered in Google business listing scams rely on. The links below go to each platform’s own domain, checked against their current help pages rather than a cached search result, because a support page that gets renamed or restructured, as Apple’s did, leaves stale instructions pointing at a dead end.
Google Business Profile support
Google Business Profile support runs through your account, not a public phone line. Sign in and use the official Business Profile support / contact page, which routes you based on your account and whatever issue you flag; the options offered (chat, callback, or a case form) depend on the account and the problem. For a fake or spam listing specifically, use the reporting flow instead of general support, since that goes to a different review queue. If the contact itself looks suspicious rather than the listing, our guide to Google Business listing scams covers how to tell a real Google contact from one impersonating them.
What to include: your Business Profile’s exact name and address, the listing URL from Google Maps, and a screenshot of the specific problem (wrong hours, a suspension notice, a duplicate).
Apple Business Connect (now part of Apple Business)
Apple folded Business Connect, the tool for managing a location on Apple Maps, into a single product called Apple Business, alongside what used to be Apple Business Manager and Apple Business Essentials. Apple’s own guide confirms the change directly: Apple Business Connect is now Apple Business. The location-management features you had under Business Connect are still there; they are reached through the Apple Business sign-in.
Support is reached from inside the account: sign in to Apple Business and use the Support link in the account navigation, which opens the Apple Business User Guide and Apple’s own support contact options.
What to include: the organization name registered with Apple, the location’s address as it appears in your showcase, and a screenshot of the issue.
Bing Places for Business
Bing Places is reached by signing in with the Microsoft account that claimed your listing at bingplaces.com. Microsoft has been folding Bing’s business tools under its broader “Bing for Business” branding, so the fastest way to a real answer is the Help or Support option inside your own signed-in dashboard rather than a public search, since the specific menu depends on your account and listing status. Our guide to claiming Bing Places for Business covers the claim and verification flow in full if you have not completed it yet.
What to include: the Microsoft account email tied to the listing, the listing’s exact name and address, and, if verification is the issue, which method (phone, email, or postcard) you were offered.
Yelp for Business
Yelp publishes clear, direct contact options for business owners through its Support Center: a searchable help library plus a customer service line at (877) 767-9357, staffed Monday through Friday 5am to 6pm Pacific and weekends 7am to 4pm Pacific. For claiming or fixing a listing rather than a support ticket, see our guide to adding and claiming your Yelp listing.
What to include: your Yelp business page URL, the account email, and, for a duplicate or incorrect listing, the correct NAP details.
Facebook (Meta Business Help Center)
Facebook Page issues for a business go through the Meta Business Help Center, which is separate from the general consumer Facebook Help Center and covers Pages, ad accounts, and business verification specifically. Use it rather than the personal-account help flow, since a Page dispute (a locked account, a disputed name, an impersonating Page) is handled differently from a personal profile issue. Our guide to adding your business to Facebook covers claiming and setting up the Page itself.
What to include: the Page URL, the admin account email, and a screenshot of any error or notice.
Foursquare
Foursquare has shifted from a consumer app with a self-serve “edit your listing” page toward a business-to-business location-data and API company, which is also how Citation Builder connects to it: through Foursquare’s official Places API rather than a public form. That shift means there is no longer a simple public dashboard for correcting a single venue, and the contact page Foursquare publishes today is built for enterprise sales inquiries about its location-data products, not for a quick listing fix. If your Foursquare presence was created through a citation-building service or an API partner, the faster path is usually asking that provider to correct it through the API rather than searching for a consumer support line. In our own client builds, Foursquare moderation on a new or edited place has taken anywhere from a few days to considerably longer, so a follow-up after a week of silence is normal rather than a sign something failed. Our guide to claiming your Foursquare business listing covers what to submit and what Foursquare checks before a place goes live.
What to include: the venue name and address exactly as it should read, and, if you manage it, the account or email associated with the venue.
Where to get help, at a glance
| Platform | Where to get help | What to include |
|---|---|---|
| Google Business Profile | support.google.com/business/gethelp, signed in | Listing URL, exact NAP, screenshot |
| Apple Business (formerly Business Connect) | Sign in at business.apple.com, then account icon > Support | Organization name, location address, screenshot |
| Bing Places | Sign in at bingplaces.com, use in-dashboard Help | Microsoft account email, listing NAP, verification method used |
| Yelp | biz.yelp.com/support-center or (877) 767-9357 | Page URL, account email, correct NAP |
| Meta Business Help Center | Page URL, admin email, screenshot | |
| Foursquare | No consumer support desk; Foursquare’s contact page is sales-oriented, so ask your API or citation-building provider first | Venue name and address, associated account |
When the problem is bigger than one platform
A support ticket fixes one listing on one platform, which is only ever one part of the wider local SEO picture for a business. If the underlying issue is that your name, address, or phone changed and several directories now disagree, working through each platform’s support queue one at a time is the slow way to do it; our guides to changing your business address everywhere and updating a phone number across every listing cover the faster order of operations. Our free NAP checker is a quick way to see which of your listings are already out of sync before you start filing tickets for each one individually.
Citation Builder does not manage your Google Business Profile or Apple listing directly, since both stay yours to control and verify. What it does build, including Bing Places, Facebook, and Foursquare through its official API, is recorded with its own live URL and a screenshot the moment it goes public, so you have a real record to check against, not a dashboard claim, and the directories it maintains stay part of one growing, monitored profile rather than a set of accounts you have to remember how to log into individually. Frequently asked questions
How do I contact Google Business Profile support?
Sign in to your Business Profile and use the official contact form at Google's Business Profile support page, which routes your case based on your account and any active issue. Google does not publish a general support phone number for every account; phone or chat support, when offered, appears inside your own dashboard rather than through a number found elsewhere.
Does Apple Business Connect still exist under that name?
Not as a separate product any more. Apple's own documentation confirms that Apple Business Connect is now part of Apple Business, which combines what used to be Apple Business Manager, Apple Business Essentials, and Apple Business Connect into one account. The location-management features are unchanged, just reached through the Apple Business sign-in and its Support option.
Is there a phone number for Yelp business support?
Yes. Yelp's Support Center lists (877) 767-9357 for business account questions, staffed Monday to Friday 5am to 6pm Pacific and weekends 7am to 4pm Pacific. The Support Center itself covers claiming, editing, advertising, and billing questions without needing to call.
Where do I get help with a Facebook Page for my business?
Meta runs a dedicated Business Help Center, separate from the general Facebook Help Center, covering Pages, ad accounts, and verification. It is the right starting point for a business-specific issue like a disputed Page name or a locked business account, rather than the consumer help flow.
How do I get support for a Foursquare listing?
Foursquare now operates mainly as a business-to-business location-data and API company rather than a consumer app with a self-serve edit-your-listing page. Its public contact page is built for enterprise sales inquiries about its location-data products, not listing corrections, so if your listing was built through a citation-building service or an API partner, ask them to fix it through the Places API rather than hunting for a consumer support line. Expect any reply cycle to run in business days, not minutes.
What should I have ready before contacting any listing platform's support?
Your business's exact name, address, and phone number as registered on that platform, the listing's URL if it is public, the account email used to claim it, and a screenshot of the problem. Platforms that verify by phone, postcard, or document will also ask for whatever proof ties you to the business at that address.
