Suggested edits
Changes to a business profile proposed by users or by Google's own systems, which can go live without the owner's action.
Anyone can suggest an edit to a place on Google Maps, and Google may also update details from other sources it trusts. Owners are notified in their profile and can review the changes, but some are applied automatically.
Wrong suggested edits often trace back to an old address, phone or name still published somewhere on the web, which is why fixing the source listings matters as much as rejecting the edit.
