The Local Finder is the full page of local results behind the map pack's 'more places' link. It shows many more businesses, with filters for rating, hours and attributes, and its order can differ from the three-pack.
Rank tracking tools often report Local Finder positions beyond the top three, which is useful for seeing how close a business is to breaking into the pack.
